Public Speaking

As both a former executive producer of a TEDx event, as well as a public speaker myself, I know how daunting it can be for people to take on public speaking. The TEDx talks that I’ve helped coach have over 100,000 views on YouTube, but even more impactful is that those videos are sharing ideas worth spreading. Whether you need someone to help you come out of your public speaking cocoon, or just an extra pair of eyes to help you nail that pitch, I’m happy to help you out. SXSWEdu

In 2018, I made my debut at SXSWEdu with my mentor, and founder of WIT– Whatever It Takes, Sarah Hernholm, speaking on emotional intelligence and how being a teen entrepreneur inherently teaches EQ. Once again in 2019, Sarah and I hosted the 2019 Student Startup Competition at SXSWEdu. I have a huge passion for teen entrepreneurship (I’ve been an entrepreneur since I could speak) and couldn’t be more honored to be invited to help host this event.

TEDx

At 15 years old, my TEDx Talk was released on the TEDx YouTube channel. From there I joined the TEDxLakeTravisHigh Executive team, helping build an annual event based on ideas worth spreading. My tenure on the executive team at TEDxLakeTravisHigh and as a part of the marketing team at TEDxYouth@Austin has given me unique insight into public speaking from ideation to final product.

Pitching

I’ve done a few pitches in my life, from the Pitch-a-Kid competition (no kids were harmed in the making) to pitches for new businesses that I’m getting feedback on. Pitching is a whole new realm of public speaking, often there are time limits, and you have to weed out the less important information and figure out what’s most important for your pitch.
